We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader on a full-time, permanent contract based at our Markham Vale 1 site in Duckmanton.

Shift: Sunday - Thursday 22:00 - 06:00

Salary: £12:00 p/h and OT x1.3

• Manage and motivate the shift team in order to ensure that productivity and service KPIs are achieved or exceeded 
• Manage Goods Inwards area and Loading bays to ensure that receipts are made quickly and without damaging goods so that stock is available to satisfy orders
• Develop and train all team members so that their contributions to the warehouse can be maximised and succession plan
• Carry out disciplinary/ grievance interviews and investigations in line with Company procedure
• Support the Shift  Manager in any ad hoc duties within the Warehouse function
• Over see the cross docking process
• Ensure that the work place is clean and tidy at all times
• Carry out daily shift briefs to their teams and ensure that their teams are kept up to date with all relevant information to enable them to carry out their work
• Ensure that all areas of the warehouse comply with the companies Health, Safety and Welfare policies
• Monitor and control the work environment to ensure that it is operating to its optimum efficiency
• Ensure that the shifts performance is in line with the work load and Key Performance Indicators
• Ensure that the available resources are utilised to there full potential at all times

• Have a good working knowledge within a Warehouse and Logistics operation
