The Cue Health Monitoring System

We are developing a connected diagnostic platform for use in the home and by healthcare professionals to enable fast and convenient access to health information through a range of simple, self-serve tests that deliver results to your mobile device in minutes.

Software

For consumers, Cue’s software delivers a personalized mobile health dashboard, which stores test results and connects directly with on-demand telemedicine and prescription services. For professionals, Cue’s software provides a platform for managing patient test histories and the ability to connect with patients for follow-up including telemedicine consults and prescription services.

    Job Description

    Cue Health Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time Information Technology and Security Business Partner.  This individual will provide Administrative and Network Support (wired and wireless) across the organization and will implement and maintain our network and security infrastructure.  Responsible for developing a HIPAA-compliant privacy program and ensuring privacy policies to protect the integrity of PHI. Deliver or oversee employee privacy training, conduct risk assessments and develop HIPAA-compliant procedures where necessary.

    Responsibilities:

    • Install and monitor new systems and automated processes (includes networking equipment, desktops, firewalls, servers, software)
    • Implement and maintain our network and security infrastructure, including antivirus, encryption and phishing measures and authentication
    • Act as our HIPAA Security Officer and maintain HIPAA Privacy/Security practices by ensuring appropriate HIPAA Security and Privacy practices and policies are established, implemented, and communicated throughout the organization
    • Maintain log of PHI related incidences while tracking and monitoring compliance
    • Monitor compliance with HIPAA Privacy /Security policies and procedures and oversee the duties other individuals assigned with security responsibilities
    • Investigate incidents in which a breach of PHI may have occurred, report breaches as necessary and ensure patient’s rights in accordance with state and federal laws
    • Responsible for the development of Security policies and maintain policies and for breach response and analysis
    • Implement procedures, training and monitor compliance in regard to policies and procedures set forth
    • Work with our Information Security Consultant to maintain HIPAA and ISO compliance and conduct our Security Risk Assessment
    • This individual will be responsible for protecting our organizations computers, networks and data against threats as well as implement and maintain our network and security infrastructure
    • Manage cloud based services, GSuite, etc.
    • Effectively research, troubleshoot, and prepare internal plans or solutions to solve any IT issues
    • Risk Management and data protection
    • Deploy and/or support all IT related hardware; work stations, printers, scanners, etc.
    • Support all operating systems and end-user software
    • Manage end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights, in accordance with company policies
    • Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems on input/ output fleet and workstations and escalate incidents as necessary

      Qualifications

      Requirements:

      • BS Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent is required
      • 6+ years of experience working in Information Technology or similar field
      • 3+ years of experience working in a security function within a HIPAA compliant organization
      • Working technical proficiency of network and platform operating systems, including Windows (all versions) and MS Office Suites
      • Extensive application support experience with Desktop software and Web interfaces
      • Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience
      • Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information
      • Willing to work issues and projects until completion with little or no direction
      • Participate in after-hours support when/if needed
      • Understanding of computer architectures and/or high performance computing

       Physical Requirements:

      • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged period of time
      • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing for prolong periods of time
      • Adjusting, moving or lifting objects up to 50 pounds
      • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
      • Operating machinery and/or power tools
