CLIA is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to be part of the Global Finance team to take responsibility for the general ledger on accounts payable and accounts receivable.  The Senior Accountant will also:

·       Manage member dues, including processing billings and payments in multiple currencies,

·       Analyze and prepare month end schedules,

·       Assist with monthly financial reports for actual and forecasted results,

·       And prepare audit schedules and assist with annual financial audits.

You should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with six (6) years of related experience.  You should also have:

•         A working knowledge generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and control methods,

•         Knowledge of nonprofit tax law and lobbying disclosure agreements,

•         Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, and reports and ability to review documents and data for accuracy,

•         Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines,

·       And a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products, financial management systems, and association management systems (AMS)
