Job Summary

The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, scheduling interviews, and assisting with the full-cycle recruitment process for a variety of professional staff positions throughout the firm. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Effectively sources candidates to determine skills and fit in relation to role requirements.
  • Serves as a point of contact for the candidate, hiring managers, and recruiting firms throughout the full recruitment process.
  • Advises hiring managers on the recruitment process and establishes an effective communication flow on recruiting efforts by providing timely status updates through meetings, email and reports.
  • Schedules and coordinates interviews with staff recruiters and hiring managers
  • Creates job postings and recruitment advertisements.
  • Manages the background check process with vendor and dispositions candidates; confers with Chief Human Resources Officer on any adverse actions related to job candidates.
  • Conducts candidate reference checks.
  • Makes verbal offers; prepares offer letters.
  • Working with the HR Assistant and HR Coordinator, coordinates provisioning for and onboarding of new hires.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the full life-cycle recruitment/talent acquisition process.
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of applicant tracking systems (SmartRecruiter), and applicant workflow process.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS suite to produce quality written communications such as memos, spreadsheets, slides, and other standard work documents.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information from a variety of sources, apply critical and creative thinking to draw conclusions or develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to provide quality client service to both internal and external contacts, regarding non-legal matters of a routine nature.  Requires patience, creativity and discretion.
  • Ability to handle personal and compensation information in a confidential and professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing with attorneys, staff, vendors and external contacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a productive and committed work effort, meeting deadlines and managing workload.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel, and willingness to assist others, even in potentially stressful situations.

Education

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree.  Equivalent training and experience may substitute for education.

Experience

The position requires a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of increasingly responsible, directly related experience during which knowledge, skills and abilities applicable to the position were demonstrated.

Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance with applicable laws. The salary for this position is$59,200 - $85,700.00. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. Other benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, and all-purpose leave. The salary for this position may vary based on location, market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
