Job Summary 

Crowell & Moring LLP, a global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a highly qualified Counsel to join its International Trade practice group in the New York office. 

Qualifications

Candidates must have 5 – 6 years of substantive experience in customs and import law. Experience handling forced labor, audits, investigations, penalty proceedings, disclosures, valuation, classification and origin matters is required. Candidates should have experience managing and running cases on a day-to-day basis, including supervising and managing junior associates. U.S. Court of International Trade experience is preferred.

All candidates should have excellent academic credentials as well as highly developed writing and analytical skills.  Candidates must be members in good standing of the NY State Bar.

Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance to applicable laws. The salary range for this position is $305,000 to $335,000.  Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. Other benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, and all-purpose leave. The salary for this position may vary based on location, market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
