Job Description

Crowell & Moring LLP, a global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a highly qualified Counsel to join its Health Care and Digital Health practice groups working from its Washington, D.C. office.

Candidates with at least 5 years of experience working with (i) healthcare organizations to incorporate innovative digital technology, (ii) health information exchanges or networks, and/or (iii) digital health companies, to develop or implement digital health solutions, are encouraged to apply. Experience at a major law firm or federal government agency is preferred.

Ideal candidates will:

  • have substantive experience with new and existing regulations pertaining to healthcare interoperability, data access, and information blocking as well as HIPAA, and Stark and anti-kickback laws as they relate to digital health technology. Additional experience related to telehealth/virtual care and healthcare policy is a plus.
  • have demonstrated experience building client relationships, proactively engaging and interacting with clients, delegating effectively to junior associates and handling the day-to-day demands of, and coordinating the variable work streams for, a variety of private and public clients with sophisticated needs.

Qualifications

All candidates should have excellent academic and professional credentials as well as highly developed writing, analytical and communication skills. Candidates must be a member of the DC Bar or immediately eligible to waive-in.
