Job Description

Crowell & Moring LLP, a global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a highly qualified Professional Track Associate to join its Insurance & Reinsurance practice group in the New York office, representing insurance and reinsurance companies in litigation, arbitration, and counseling matters. Crowell & Moring represents many top insurers in sophisticated and complex matters covering a wide variety of issues faced by the insurance industry.

Professional Track Associates are an integral part of our service to clients, practice wide. This is a non-partnership track position, with a 1900-hour billable target. The ideal candidate will be given a wide range of responsibilities and have the opportunity to become fully involved and integrated into all aspects of our practice and service to our clients.

Qualifications

Candidates should have 1 to 5 years of law firm experience working on behalf of insurance or reinsurance companies, specifically including insurance or reinsurance coverage or other counseling and litigation. All candidates should have excellent academic credentials as well as highly developed writing and analytical skills.  Candidates must be members in good standing of the New York Bar.
