Job Description

The Receptionist is an energetic, professional with a commitment to  excellence who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats.   They will work as part of the Operations team on general office operations and all initiatives aligned with agency operations.  

Please note this role is an on site/in-office positionSalary 45k.

Working together with the Operations team members to present an energetic front desk environment, the Receptionist responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Registering and greeting visitors, screening phone calls, receiving and shipping mail
  • Ad hoc travel booking, expense reporting, time keeping
  • Light cleaning as needed including: tidying kitchen and open office areas;  loading/unloading dishwashers and putting away dishes, straightening conference rooms 
  • Restocking snacks, beverages, and kitchen supplies and taking note of what is needed
  • Restocking bathroom supplies
  • Office supply restocking, inventory, ordering
  • Office storage organization 
  • Internal & external client meetings/event preparation, execution and cleanup 
  • Assist with burgerday planning and execution
  • Assist with event planning and execution 
  • Errands as needed
  • Assisting with Physical move preparation and execution 

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure a presentable office space is maintained, working with outside vendors as appropriate
  • Maintain centralized office/operational information
  • Inventory/tracking of furniture and office supplies as needed
  • Office repairs coordination as needed
  • Assist with the planning, set-up of onsite or offsite meetings or social gatherings as needed
  • Work collaboratively and support all Operations initiatives
  • Support the unique culture of Crossmedia 

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills 
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • fluent with Microsoft Office for Mac (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
  • able to multi-task, prioritize & follow-up
  • Able to lift 25 lbs
  • Comfortable sitting for long periods of time
  • comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where the strictest policy is having a burger on Fridays (veggies options tooI)
