Job Description
As Programmer, you’ll participate in requirement analysis, user interaction, user experience design, development, unit testing, code review and deployment of client-application. You’ll contribute to the development of project estimates, scheduling and deliverables. Work closely with design of the product to ensure usability and user experience is at its finest. Also, to determine testing requirements to ensure full coverage and best quality of product. There are 3 primary division of the responsibilities
- Creating new and improving existing in-house tools
- Creating dashboards and reporting tools
- Supporting Robotic Process Automation (RPA) projects
For all of the above it is necessary to understand business needs and translate into programable logic.
- Coordinate with team members (global or domestic) to understand operational needs
- Can involve going on site, if need be
- Participate in requirement analysis, architecture, user interaction, user experience design, development, unit testing, code review, and deployment
- Conceptualize design and results based on data available, at ops level, to help customers take daily/tactical decisions
- Contribute to development of project estimates, scheduling and deliverables
- Creating tools and automating reports can be done using MS .NET (C#), Python, MS Power BI, RDBMS engines, MS Office (VBA)
Qualifications
Necessary skills
- B.E. / B. Tech. Computer Science or MCA from a reputed University
- 0-2 years of experience, with emphasis on .NET (C#)
- Should have experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of SQL is mandatory
- Knowledge of any RPA tool (preferably UiPath)
- Fundamental knowledge of concepts of Business Intelligence
- Basic knowledge of RDBMs, data-warehousing and datamarts is mandatory
- Excellent analytical, technical as well as oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail is mandatory, with strong problem solving, troubleshooting skills and ability to exercise mature judgement
- Smart, motivated and ability to work in global cross-office teams
Nice to have skills
- Python, VBA experience is a plus
- DB performance tuning
- Hands-on experience of Data Visualization tools like MS Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Version control systems, SVN or Git in particular
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) models
- Demonstrated expertise with at least 1 full life cycle Analytics or Systems integration engagement across strategy, design and implementation
- Any type of application training and support
