Job Description

The Platform Marketing Manager will be responsible for setting the strategy and developing marketing plans for products across the Cricut platform. Duties will include data-driven product launch planning, campaign development, project management and building cross-functional partnerships. The ideal candidate will work closely with product management, creative, data science, digital marketing, social media, education and software/UX teams to ensure the success of programs supporting products on our platform.

  • Develop data-driven marketing strategies for one of Cricut’s primary product platforms
  • Define marketing plans and programs necessary to hit annual targets, report on effectiveness of those efforts
  • Achieve overall goals associated on a quarterly, annual, and long-term basis as defined by the Leadership Team; help build the business dashboard with key indicators
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the target audience, ensuring the plans are relevant and impactful
  • Partner with corporate and digital marketing, ecommerce, and channel marketing teams to integrate programs driving awareness, consideration, and conversion
  • Work closely with Product Management team to develop marketing plans, messaging, and creative assets to support Cricut product launches for one of Cricut’s primary product platforms
  • Collaborate with Consumer Insights Team to understand consumer needs and pain points
  • Serve as key point person to manage messaging communication around in-market products
  • Stay on top of the latest consumer trends, technologies, and competitor activity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field; an MBA is a plus
  • 5-7 years progressive marketing experience (consumer goods experience preferred)
  • Marketing – experience in developing marketing plans, defining target audience and messaging, developing marketing briefs, partnering with creative teams to execute, setting and tracking key metrics
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to introduce and announce new products, features and/or programs
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills; ability to juggle multiple projects at one time and self-prioritize workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with focus to meet tight time schedules
  • Passion for the consumer – desire to really get to know the consumer, translating the consumer needs into messaging and experiences
  • Working at all levels – proven ability to drive strategic thinking about the overall marketing strategy as well as focus on the executional details
  • Experience planning market research including development of consumer surveys and conducting online and in-person interviews
  • Data-driven decisions – know how to get and analyze data to make business decisions, balancing thoughtful research with the need for timeliness
