Job Description

We are looking for an SEO Manager with extensive knowledge of search engine optimization across large international ecommerce businesses. Charged with enhancing visits and revenue through the organic search channel to attract first-time buyers to the Cricut brand, the SEO expert will lead the SEO strategy and execution to optimize website architecture, content and link building for our brand.

You will be responsible for hands-on management of natural search engine optimization (SEO) programs. You will drive advancement in marketing capabilities, evangelize SEO opportunities, optimize customer engagement, and deliver effective results against key business objectives for Cricut.

Experience working in competitive search verticals with a track record of building sustainable, successful SEO strategies is a must.


What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement our SEO strategy to drive organic traffic and revenue across all cricut.com sites.
  • Manage planning, execution, and analysis of SEO programs and campaigns including keyword analysis and meta data optimization and support for content creation search listings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SEO best practices, execute day-to-day tactical website updates, and drive growth by following the SEO roadmap
  • Guide implementation of SEO standard methodologies in new product and engineering initiatives and work with product team to optimize and increase onsite SEO
  • Research and resolve HTML code and content, link architecture and navigation issues - Manage creation of on-page SEO content, conduct site audits and SEO QA of releases Create search marketing plans supporting brand and customer marketing strategies across multiple markets.
  • Manage relationships with agencies, vendors, and publishers
  • Oversee the localization and subsequent performance of content into our foreign language sites (bilingual/multilingual not a requirement)
  • Develop insights and actions based on qualitative and quantitative analytics
  • Collaborate with in-house marketing team to steer efficient link building strategies from raw ideas into concrete, scalable campaigns
  • Develop and drive cross team strategies to build and defend SEO traffic and revenue
  • Stay current on the latest digital marketing trends, identify new and emerging search marketing opportunities, and influence innovation
  • Report on organic search and new digital channel performance to senior management
  • Provide technical SEO consultation and education to various internal collaborators
  • Collaborate with PPC search team to ensure integration and alignment across the search space
  • Research search trends and ideate new SEO strategies across multiple verticals

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in international/multi-lingual e-commerce businesses essential
  • Extensive experience as a SEO professional with strong technical and link building experience
  • Experience crafting SEO-focused product requirement documents
  • Proven experience working cross functionally to deliver rapid organic traffic growth
  • Experience in digital marketing channels beyond SEO, with PPC or performance display preferred
  • Proven understanding of and experience with agile web development process and technologies
  • Highly skilled with GA4 and relevant web analytics tools - Keen ability to translate data to practical, strategic plans
  • Very strong writing skills and user-centric design sensibility
