Job Description
- Develop an understanding and expertise of Cricut’s internal controls over financial reporting
- Understand and report the accounting for Inventory (reconciliations, journal entries, etc.)
- Understand and report the accounting for Fixed Assets (reconciliations, journal entries, etc.)
- Contribute to the Controller group with projects as assigned
- Document and define technical processes using Accounting guidance from various sources
- Develop the ability to understand and write complex accounting memorandums where necessary
- Contribute to the preparation of schedules and supporting documents for external audits as performed by the outside accounting firm
- Develop an understanding and expertise of Cricut’s internal controls over financial reporting
- Perform a number of roles and responsibilities in the Company’s Treasury function
- Assist in ensuring compliance with reporting requirements to the Company’s Lenders
- Contribute to the Controller group with projects as assigned
- Participate in managing the Company’s Purchase Order process from the finance team
- Document and define technical processes using Accounting guidance from various sources
- Develop the ability to understand and write complex accounting memorandums where necessary
- Contribute to the preparation of schedules and supporting documents for external audits as performed by the outside accounting firm
Qualifications
An ideal candidate will:
- Learn quickly and maintain a positive attitude
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and written communication
- Be a self-starter, capable of working independently
- Maintain high attention to detail even while working on repetitive tasks
Ideal Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Accounting/Business Administration (with an Accounting emphasis) from an accredited institution. CPA preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounting. Public accounting experience is a plus
- Experience understanding the Accounting environments of companies within the consumer products and technology industries
- Proven track record of excelling within team environments
