Job Description

Hardware Tester

$18-$22/hr - depending on experience

Cricut has an immediate opportunity for a Hardware QA Tester in our Hardware Quality team. You will be responsible for carrying out test plans for new and existing products based on the Product Requirements and Engineering Specifications. You should be able to drive the projects independently, and support QA concerns in meetings with cross-functional and project teams 

Qualifications

  • Quick learner with a great attitude
  • Strong in mechanical problem-solving and logical thinking skills
  • Experience using calipers and digital microscopes
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and using basic formulas
    • sum, max, min, standard deviation, etc.
  • Ability to collect, collate, and present data and findings from tests.
    • Experience testing, analyzing and troubleshooting issues with hardware, mechanical, electronic devices
    • Experience in root cause analysis and fixing hardware issues
    • Must have excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and written communication
    • Self-starter, capable of working independently
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Experience making SQL quarries and presenting results is a plus
    • Mechanical or Test Engineering background with experience in root causing mechanical issues is also a plus.

    Bonus Skills:

    • Knowledge of current Cricut products: Explore, Maker, Joy, Easy Press and other products and tools
