Job Description

As a member of our SFCC engineering team, you will join a team of engineers to lead building our global ecommerce platform. You will be part of Cricut’s eCommerce engineering team, working collaboratively with engineers, other engineering teams, business stakeholders, and third parties to tirelessly enhance and evolve our ecommerce platform.  You will also work closely with product owners to define and understand project requirements to build them into beautiful, scalable code for our customers all over the world!

What does that look like in your everyday? Well, some of it will be:

  • Providing Expertise in front or back-end software with full-stack experience following Salesforce Commerce Cloud’s framework best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teammates from UX, finance, Member Care, etc. utilizing Agile development processes to deliver the best experience possible for our customers.
  • Implement and own software development life-cycle processes like code reviews, build processes, coding standards, etc.
  • Research platform capabilities constantly staying on top of latest trends to offer solutions to meet our business needs.
  • Provide technical platform expertise and mentorship to both business and engineering teams.
  • Continuously improve our application documentation, processes and tools.
  • Develop conceptual and logical architecture designs. Document architectures patterns and methodologies.
  • Provide direction to engineers and manage architectural risks, solutioning at an enterprise level.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven, full-stack development capabilities with at least 8-10+ years in a development role and at least 3-5+ years in a dev lead role.
  • 5+ years’ experience developing on Salesforce Commerce Cloud supporting high-converting global implementations.
  • Expertise in web technologies including: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, jQuery, web analytics, XML, web services (SOAP/REST), and open source packages/libraries.
  • Strong experience working closely with UX/UI designers & engineers to create high-converting exceptional e-commerce experiences across the commerce journey
  • Proven experience with new implementations and building an international reference application.
  • Experience integrating content management systems or SFCC Page Designer.
  • Experience with headless integrations utilizing OCAPI or headless commerce API.
  • Proven Experience in cross cloud integrations (SFMC, SFSC, etc.).
  • Strong Knowledge and experience leading 3rd party integrations across the SFCC ecosystem including payment, shipping, tax, OMS, address Verification, etc.
  • Must be hands-on–able to develop, design and deliver high quality software solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
