Job Description

To that end, Cricut is looking for an expert HRIS Manager. We want you to creatively help anticipate and address the issues that confront a growing tech company. This HRIS Manager will report to, but most importantly partner with, our Head of HR Operations and our Payroll Manager. With our extended HR teammates, we will grow and scale the HR team into new territories serving our employees across the globe. 

This role will be responsible for system configuration, system updates, system evaluation/ implementation, data maintenance and customer service for People data and transactions. You will ensure Cricut follows company, federal, state and international policy and regulations. This leader serves as a technical point-of-contact for HRIS/Payroll systems and assists team members with across our HR ecosystems of process and technology.  You will help ensure data integrity across our ecosystem and analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities. A strong teammate will bring attention to detail, high energy, project management skills, and a positive attitude to the table every single day.

  • Be the in-house subject matter expert for all HR Systems 
  • Provide support in the development and implementation of process improvements 
  • Ensure the timely and accurate entry of data into the HRIS
  • Provide front end support and troubleshooting to HRIS users
  • Perform audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with Cricut and regulatory policies
  • Listen to the voice of our customers (our employees) and develop strategies to assess, evaluate, and address issues that we are uniquely positioned to address
  • Test system modifications or enhancements
  • Analyze current processes and recommend changes with HR technology
  • Determine system configuration, system testing, and map out processes for all HRIS implementations, including new techloogy and upgrades
  • Build project plans and collaborate with all individuals and/or department staff to coordinate application of upgrade; document process and results
  • Develop functional training and documentation of system use for HRIS users as needed
  • Resolves HRIS system issues, acts as “troubleshooter” for HR and Payroll, works closely with IT department
  • Maintains the Time & Labor system
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with 5+ years hands-on experience within an HR systems  or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • UltiPro HRIS experience highly desired
  • Knowledge of functional HR, Payroll processes and terminology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Extensive working knowledge of Cloud HRIS and SaaS best practices
  • Must have knowledge of system administration and implementation – experience in UltiPro / UKG a plus
  • Ability to apply HR Project Management skills, including, handling confidential material and details and the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects
  • Familiar with multi-jurisdiction payroll processes and systems a plus
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in problem resolution
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines and under limited supervision
  • Must have the ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced work environment; including multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple projects and requests simultaneously
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to interpret and convey information for employees
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability and desire to actively learn and adapt in a growing organization
