Job Description

As a photography and video producer at Cricut, you’ll coordinate and manage many aspects of our image production process from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for organizing logistics, deadlines, budgets, and communications of a project, as well as coordinate with internal clients, art directors, project managers, photographers, video directors, internal and external crew, talent agencies, post-production houses. Manage functional shot lists, breakdowns, shooting schedules, and storyboards. You will be a critical hub of our imaging and video production facilities here at Cricut and you must be highly communicative, fast-thinking, and have a knack for problem-solving.

The right candidate is team oriented but capable of working independently; able to receive candid and constructive feedback; is committed to doing their best work each day without supervision; and capable of pushing our productions to new heights.

Responsibilities

·       Prepare shooting schedules, shot lists and shot/storyboard breakdowns

·       Manage multiple shoots with overlapping schedules

·       Communicate shoot expectations to photographers and video director

·       Manage shoot logistics and prepare budgets

·       Coordinate with talent and crew

·       Create call sheets

·       Take a project from start to finish, on budget, and on time

Qualifications

·       Fierce attention to technical detail

·       Patience enough to work through big-picture changes

·       Ability to consistently deliver in a deadline-driven environment

·       Self-motivated and pro-active work ethic

·       Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback.

·       Deep knowledge of all phases of photo and video production (Pre-production, production, and post-production)

·       Calm under pressure

·       Forward thinking and innovative; comfortable voicing your opinion and taking creative chances

·       A team player will excellent communication and collaboration skills

·       Brings a positive and enthusiastic attitude in all endeavors

Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in film, film production, visual communications, or related field (strong consideration given, but not required)

·       5+ years of experience as a producer for a production company or digital agency
