Job Description

Operations Supervisor (Contract)

$30/hour, paid holidays – no medical benefits

Cricut is seeking an experienced and versatile Operations Supervisor to join our team in Lehi, UT. You will be responsible for leading a warehouse and CNC cutting machine refurbishment team. You will be overseeing the overall processes of receiving broken machines, categorizing them by issue type, fixing, testing, cleaning and re-packaging the machines. Additional oversight will be needed for organizing the warehouse, maintaining proper inventories and disposal of un-fixable machines.  

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the work force in the accomplishment of the day-to-day assignments
  • Conducts daily pre-shift and/or post-shift inspection of the work area to identify and remove any workflow impediments
  • Oversees pallet assembly to ensure partnering warehouses receive the machines we send them, on well-built pallets, and securely wrapped before being loaded onto trailers
  • Resolves inventory discrepancies
  • Ensures steady workflow through the warehouse via routine spot checks on progress of associates and adjusts manpower to increase efficiency
  • Keeps abreast of the volume of work, issues work assignments and follows through to assure completion within schedules, and acceptable standards
  • Ensures associates have equipment needed to perform their work and assists them in securing the necessary equipment if issues occur
  • Maintains daily production (RMA categorization, refurbishing, testing, cleaning and packing) and accuracy records
  • Develops productive associates through training, coaching and disciplining when necessary, in order to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Develops and maintain good working relationship with all departments within supply chain

Qualifications

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • Possess strong general knowledge of all warehousing operations, with prior work experience to include lead person or supervisory duties.
  • Possess good supervisory skills and the ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results.
  • Possess good communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Possess solid computer skills that include Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to read, interpret and create computerized reports.
  • Requires the analytical ability to handle administrative duties and mental alertness to ensure accurate, safe and thorough completion of work activities. Possess ability to concentrate and deal with frequent interruptions.
