Job Description

Cricut is seeking an experienced and versatile Technical QA Manager who will be responsible for hands-on testing and qualifying Mobile, Desktop software and API for product releases as well as providing a leadership to team. You will be responsible for testing new hardware products & applications and communicating with development teams. You should be able to represent QA concerns in cross-functional team meetings and provide valuable end-user feedback to improve the customer experience.

This position requires deep understanding of the software development life-cycle, experience with a variety of testing techniques, experience in running automation test suites and strong written and organizational skills.

The successful candidate should be able to develop and execute an organized test plan to release high quality products to market on schedule.

Qualifications

  • This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in software testing.
  • 2 to 4 years of technical leadership/management experience
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in testing IOS and Android applications.
  • Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience in creating test plans and writing test cases.
  • Experience in executing automation test suites in Selenium/Appium and analyzing results.
  • Hands on experience with testing, analyzing and troubleshooting communication between front-end (mobile and Desktop) and API / Web Services.
  • Experience in using Fiddler and/or Charles.
  • Experience in analyzing logs and debugging using debugging tools.

Bonus skills:

  • Experience in writing automation scripts in .Net/Java and Python
  • Experience in testing API using Postman.
  • Experience in testing Software interacting with hardware
  • Experience in Testing and Qualifying Consumer Electronics Products
