We are hiring a Senior Global Product Manager to further develop our Consumables business for our creative hobbyists, making Cricut their project materials' brand of choice. Working closely with product development, marketing, sales, operations, quality, your responsibilities will be to grow and optimize our Materials portfolio with the goals to increase attachment and loyalty to our target audience, increase revenue and margins, control inventory exposure, all while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. You’ll be working in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment, partnering closely with the product management teams for our machines, accessories and digital content. The ideal candidate is a product leader with proven experience driving a complex product portfolio by leveraging deep consumer and market insights and applying critical thinking in key business decisions. You must be a hands-on strategic thinker, outstanding storyteller, and passionate with delivering amazing customer experiences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the portfolio lifecycle for Consumables products for dabblers/hobbyists, from inception to end of life
  • Create global product business plans, including product value proposition, positioning, forecasting, P&L management, etc.
  • Develop product requirements in partnership with the product development and operations teams, and gain cross-functional alignment
  • Develop robust go to market strategy including product introduction timelines, merchandising, marketing, end of life execution strategies
  • Continuously monitor and drive adjustments to product portfolio based on key performance indicators
  • Build internal and external presentations to communicate effectively our portfolio to key stakeholders and retail partners
  • Keep abreast of industry and consumer trends, competitors and share insights with the cross-functional team
  • Identify key research questions, assist in developing consumer learning plan, and participate in User Experience testing
  • Monitor supply and demand managing inventory exposure in collaboration with sales, finance and operations
  • Maintain project status and data within Product Management system
  • Lead development of product packaging in conjunction with marketing and creative teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of Product Management Experience. MBA preferred.
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods or fashion apparel highly desired
  • Strategic thinking—must be proficient and comfortable with developing solid product strategies in non-structured environment
  • Passion for innovation – a strong track record of delivering innovation from idea through launch
  • Entrepreneurial spirit – ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, start-up environment and do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Passion and experience deriving consumer insights – Experience conducting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative research. Passion for gaining deep understanding of consumer behavior and garnering insights.
  • Data-driven decisions – know how to get and analyze data to make business decisions, balancing thoughtful research with the need for timeliness
  • Skilled in cost, pricing, and conjoint analysis
  • Experience managing global business with significant revenue generation from Brazil, Latin America, and Europe – including understanding of regional market trends and dynamics.
  • · Excellent communication skills – demonstrated use of written, presentation and verbal skills. Must be able to communicate business and product stories in concise compelling way to drive alignment and buy-in across the organization.
  • · Working at all levels – proven ability to drive strategic thinking about product direction as well as diving into the details to fully deliver successful product launch.
  • · Team player – build strong relationships with the cross-functional team while serving as the team lead to drive results
