Job Description

  • Drive revenue even more than the Sales team by working closely with Sales, Sales Support, Product, Asia, and Operations teams, developing a deep understanding Cricut’s products, customers, and end consumers, and owning the revenue generation process from beginning to end. 

  • Serve as a leader and mentor on key Operations projects including customer onboarding, warehouse implementations, ERP enhancements, process improvements, etc.  This position should elevate everyone around them by exuding world class creativity, innovative problem solving, strategic thinking and the ability to just get things done. 

  • Optimize warehouse productivity, space, and expense by closely and frequently communicating with 3PLs, monitoring daily warehouse output (open orders/shipments/delays), and implementing best-in-class improvements and analytics 

  • Coordinate with Purchasing team and Demand Planning team regarding forecasts, incoming inventory, product reservations, and availability and optimize allocations in a way that maximizes long-term revenue, margin, and liquidity 

  • Create and maintain detailed systems and process documents and develop and drive a world-class systems and process improvement roadmap 

  • Own and improve order fulfillment KPIs for sales accounts (e.g., Walmart OTIF) 

  • Execute Q4/holiday fulfillment within service level agreements and at or below budget

Learn and Accomplish in the First 90 Days 

  • Develop a deep familiarity with the Cricut brand, Cricut members, Cricut customers/sales channels, the Cricut business model, Cricut competitors, and Cricut products 

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with EVP of Sales, Sales Account Managers, VP of Marketing, Sales Support, DTC leadership, Asia team, Product Managers, and Finance 

  • Establish strong relationships within the Operations team including being seen as a strong evangelist of Cricut values 

  • Understand fulfillment deadlines and processes, especially for key sales accounts (Walmart, Target, Amazon, Michaels, JoAnn, Hobby Lobby, Hobby Craft, Spotlight, key Independents) 

  • Become proficient in common SAP Screens (VL10G, VA05, VA02/03, VA14L, ZPARTL, ZATP, VL06O, MD04), map out systems and process flows, and create a detailed process and systems improvement roadmap 

  • Understand Operations SOX controls as listed and described in FloQast 

  • Learn how to manage reservations, process cancellations, shortages, address changes, refunds, enter orders/pull requests, send STOs, and resolve price discrepancies (this is intended to be a strong leadership position, but also someone who can step in as a doer) 

Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline (finance, economics, statistics, or equivalent)  

  • MBA or similar master’s degree preferred 

  • Extremely strong analytical aptitude 

  • Aggressive self-starter that seeks to learn/understand business and actively pursue opportunities for improvement 

  • Advanced Excel skills 

  • SAP (or other ERP) experience strongly preferred 

  • SQL preferred 

  • Data visualization experience preferred (Domo, Tableau, Power BI) 

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams/environment 

  • Very organized and able to manage competing priorities including remaining calm under pressure 

  • Experience in retail order management and operations preferred 

  • Exceptional ability to think strategically and see the bigger picture while still being able to dive into the details

  • Operations should drive revenue more than any other department at Cricut 

 

  • Operations should drive cost savings and model efficiencies more than any other department at Cricut 

 

  • Operations should have the highest density of analytical horsepower of any department at Cricut 

 

  • Operations should embody Cricut values as noted above and be flexible, adaptable, and think outside the box to drive growth 

 

  • If a team of Amazon/world-class consultants were hired to improve Cricut Operations, the goal is for us to be so effective and efficient that the consultants would have no improvement recommendations 

 

  • Macro KPIs include revenue, EBITDA, machine POS, and customer NPS
