Job Description

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Coordinator to help develop the marketing strategy and execution for one of Cricut’s product platforms. As a Product Marketing Coordinator, you will help develop and execute the marketing strategy for Cricut’s product or brand platforms. You will develop and execute marketing plans that drive sell through of existing products. You will work closely with product, PR, influencer, social, digital and channel teams to ensure a successful, integrated launch. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • COORDINATION OF LAUNCH/CAMPAIGN ASSETS: 
    • Assist Sr. Marketing Manager & Brand Marketing Manager to gather and disseminate assets to team, ensuring deliverables are complete, on time and on message based on brief submitted to creative.
    • This includes working with creative as needed on revisions, ensuring deadlines are still met.
  • EVENT MANAGEMENT: 
    • Support logistic execution of seasonal and brand events including venues booking, temporary staff recruitment, staff travel coordination, events’ material organization, etc.
    • Collaborate with manager on successful execution of the marketing plan necessary to hit annual sell-through targets.
  • BLOG EXECUTION:
    • Act as tactical owner of the blog, including:
    • Create editorial calendar for blog
    • Draft blog content for brand and seasonal campaigns
    • Act as a project manager for Sr. Platform Marketing Managers to ensure they are submitting finalized content to you in timely manner for updates
    • Upload content as needed 
    • Audit old content on blog – identifying and fixing broken links, stories that should be updated/removed, etc.
  • GENERAL SUPPORT: Act as extra set of hands for campaign executions:
    • Develop employee engagement plans within brand campaigns to increase employee morale
    • Pull data for campaign recap reports, work with MBM or SMBM to gain understanding of how to analyze data to measure campaign success
    • Crafting/project creation as necessary
    • Pull requests and other misc. tasks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related field; 
  • 3+ years of marketing experience
  • Consumer products marketing experience preferred
  • Experience contributing to annual plan development, defining target audience and messaging, developing marketing briefs, partnering with creative teams to execute, setting and tracking key metrics
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills; ability to juggle multiple projects at one time and self-prioritize workload
  • Ability to work with focus to meet tight time schedules
  • Knack for influencing diverse groups, including cross-functional peers
  • Excellent communication skills – demonstrated use of written, presentation and verbal skills to drive team enthusiasm for products and gain stakeholder buy-in
  • Working at all levels – proven ability to focus on execution and driving results
  • Team player – build strong relationships within and outside of corporate marketing team
  • Data-driven decisions – know how to get and analyze data to make business decisions, balancing thoughtful research with the need for timeliness
  • Passion for delivering innovative marketing experiences
  • Entrepreneurial spirit – ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, start-up environment and do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Passion for the consumer – desire to really get to know the consumer, translating the consumer needs into messaging and experiences

Bonus:

  • Experience developing and leading integrated brand marketing campaigns
  • Consumer event and/or trade show experience
  • Has worked with PR/Creative/Advertising/Digital agencies
  • Exposure to international marketing
  • Retail channel and e-commerce marketing experience
  • Enthusiasm for technology
  • Understanding of market research best practices
