Job Description

We’re looking for an Associate Product Marketing Manager to help develop the marketing strategy and execution for one of Cricut’s product platforms. As an Associate Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution marketing plans that help drive sell through of existing products. You will work closely with product, PR, influencer, social, digital and channel teams to ensure a successful, integrated launch.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the execution of the marketing strategy for one of Cricut’s primary product platforms under the direction of a Senior Product Marketing Manager.
  • Collaborate with manager on successful execution of the marketing plan necessary to hit annual sell-through targets.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the target audience, ensuring that marketing plans are relevant and impactful.
  • Work closely with the PR, influencer, digital, social and channel marketing teams.
  • Work within the overall marketing budget and campaign allocation necessary to hit annual targets.
    • Identify and phase key growth drivers throughout the year including campaigns to drive base business and new product launches.
    • Partner with creative team to translate product/brand campaigns into creative executions through the year.
    • Collaborate with consumer insights team to define and execute annual learning plan to information marketing strategies.
    • Serve as support person to manage messaging communication on product updates.
  • Support the launch strategy and execution of new product launches.
    • Work closely with Product Management to translate product positioning into messaging and strategy to reach the target audience.
    • Assist with development of campaign marketing brief and partner with the creative team to ensure quality, on-time delivery of marketing programs and assets.
    • Partner with cross-functional marketing team (PR, influencer, social, digital and channel) to develop integrated plan that reaches audience and reflects key messages.
    • Project manage go-to-market strategy and execution ensuring on-time delivery.
    • Help define and track key metrics for launch, communicating progress to cross-functional and leadership teams.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related field; an MBA is a plus
  • 5+ years of strategic marketing experience
  • Consumer marketing experience preferred
  • Experience contributing to annual planning, defining target audience and messaging, developing marketing briefs, partnering with creative teams to execute, setting and tracking key metrics
  • Experience supporting and tracking social media, PR, influencer and/or advertising campaigns
  • Project management and interpersonal skills; ability to juggle multiple projects at one time and self-prioritize workload
  • Ability to work with focus to meet tight time schedules
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence diverse groups within marketing, including cross-functional peers
  • Excellent communication skills – demonstrated use of written, presentation and verbal skills to drive team enthusiasm for products and gain stakeholder buy-in
  • Team player – build strong relationships with the cross-functional team while serving as the team lead to drive results
  • Data-driven decisions – know how to get and analyze data to make business decisions, balancing thoughtful research with the need for timeliness
  • Passion for delivering innovative marketing experiences
  • Entrepreneurial spirit – ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, start-up environment and do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Passion for the consumer – desire to really get to know the consumer, translating the consumer needs into messaging and experiences

Bonus:

  • Consumer event and/or trade show experience a plus
  • Experience working with strategic or creative agencies a plus
  • International marketing experience a plus
