Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Team Leader, the Technical Consultant has extensive development experience in NetSuite and knowledge of business processes.

While having a good attitude, a willingness to work as a team and a great energy, he will guide and support customers in the context of ERP project.

Job description

  • The main mandate of the Technical Advisor is to:
  • Analyze needs in collaboration with functional analysts or customers and offer them the best technical solutions;
  • Document detailed specifications and obtain required approvals;
  • Plan, evaluate and technical customizations of NetSuite ERP to meet customer needs;
  • Provide assessments on the time required to complete tasks;
  • Develop and maintain custom application extensions using the system API and third-party tools;
  • Solve functional and technical problems of the software package;
  • Perform unit tests and participate in integrated tests;
  • Produce technical documentation of changes to the software package;
  • Communicate the status of work to clients and project managers;
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients;
  • Contribute to identifying development opportunities and promote knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team;
  • Propose and apply innovative solutions.
  • Participate in project meetings.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Competencies

  • Training as an analyst-programmer;
  • Have 3 years of experience in NetSuite development and ERP implementation;
  • Advanced knowledge of SuiteScript, Suiteflow and SuiteAnalytics;
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, XML, Report, Advanced PDF and SQL;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Visio;
  • Functional knowledge in one of the following sectors: sales and distribution, production management or finance;
  • Have good oral and written communication skills, in French and English in order to communicate with clients located across Canada;
  • Be willing to travel to carry out projects outside the area of their home.

Additional skills and competencies

  • Knowledge of SalesForce and Celigo, an asset
  • Be driven by a continuous willingness to learn, a positive, energetic attitude, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit;
