Job Description

You will be in between the users of the information systems and the developers. You will be required to analyse the users needs, communicate the necessary changes within the information system to the developers and to ensure that the changed performed align with the users needs. You will be involved in the configuration/development, if necessary, of application systems and ensure a liaison with the tiers. You are constantly searching for new ways to ensure the information systems sustainability via the detailed comprehension of these systems and their architecture.

 

The functional business systems analyst will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure the support for users for ERP/PSA, CRM, SharePoint, Access, collaboration tools and Microsoft office. Give training on the use of these applications and their best practices;
  • Identify issues and bottlenecks in processes and practices, as well as the applications themselves;
  • Document the systems end-to-end processes adapted to the company’s performance;
  • Plan, in conjunction with different user groups, the evolution of the applications;
  • Participate in the definition of the technical specifications et the creation of new management reports;
  • Follow the evolution of the applications’ and end users’ needs to update the solution design and configuration as required;
  • Integrate and automate the company’s activities where relevant;
  • Participate in special projects;

Key Relationships

  • Owners of the enterprise systems and their users (corporate services, enterprise transformation consultants/business management systems and integration services/asset management solution integration services;
  • IT services team;
  • Internal and external service suppliers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, specialization in IT management (or equivalent);
  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience in application management/SuperUser;
  • Knowledge of CRM, ERP, PSA applications, document management, collaboration tools, office;
  • Good listening skills and good interpersonal skills;
  • An expertise in Microsoft Sharepoint and Office 365 would be considered an asset;
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English and in French;
  • Excellent ability in documenting system configurations, user guides and user trainings;
  • Capable of working under minimal supervision, in a team environment;
  • Experience in the governance of information systems and application security management;
