In this highly visible leadership role, you will shape the future of nursing education by leading the academic strategy, delivery, and continuous advancement of our BSN program. You will inspire faculty, champion student success, drive academic excellence, and ensure graduates are prepared to meet the evolving needs of healthcare.
As a collaborative and transformational leader, you will build and develop a high-performing academic team while fostering a culture grounded in care, accountability, innovation, and student-centered outcomes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive Academic Excellence
- Lead the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the BSN curriculum.
- Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with university standards, program outcomes, accreditation requirements, and regulatory expectations.
- Execute academic strategies that support exceptional student outcomes, including NCLEX success, retention, persistence, graduation, and student satisfaction.
- Leverage data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead and Develop Faculty
- Build, mentor, coach, and evaluate a high-performing team of faculty and academic leaders.
- Oversee faculty recruitment, onboarding, development, scheduling, performance management, and retention.
- Foster a culture of teaching excellence, innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Partner with academic leaders to identify development opportunities that enhance faculty effectiveness and student learning.
Champion Student Success
- Create an academic environment where students thrive academically, professionally, and personally.
- Promote engagement strategies that improve persistence, satisfaction, and graduation outcomes.
- Oversee key academic decisions related to student admission, progression, and graduation.
- Ensure students receive a consistently exceptional educational experience aligned with Chamberlain Care® principles.
Ensure Compliance & Accreditation Excellence
- Maintain full program compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and state board requirements.
- Partner with Accreditation and Professional Regulation teams to proactively manage program quality and compliance.
- Serve as a key liaison with state boards of nursing, accrediting agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead program reviews, audits, reporting activities, and accreditation initiatives.
Influence Strategy & Growth
- Collaborate with university leadership, national academic teams, and campus partners to execute academic priorities.
- Manage academic operations, faculty workload models, budgets, and instructional resources.
- Lead program expansion efforts and new academic initiatives that address evolving healthcare workforce needs.
- Build strong relationships with healthcare partners, clinical agencies, professional organizations, and industry stakeholders.

Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Master's Degree in Nursing required
- Doctoral Degree preferred
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license and/or multi-state privilege to practice nursing in the applicable state required
Leadership & Academic Experience
- Minimum 5 years of nursing education experience, with at least 3 years in a progressive academic leadership role
- Experience leading faculty, academic operations, curriculum delivery, and student success initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement academic policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive organizational goals, academic quality, and continuous improvement initiatives

- Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with leaders, faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders at all levels
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills

Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $101,000 and $140,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
