We are looking for Summer Students for our Transportation and Utilities department from May to the end of August. This position consists of a combination of field/office work which may include flagging for construction crews, operation of light-duty equipment (skid steer, packer) as well as computer work including but not limited to data entry, filing, and safety documentation (Field Level Hazard Assessment's).

• Valid class 5 driver's license with an acceptable driver's abstract
• Completing post-secondary, starting or returning to school in the fall preferred but not mandatory
• Experience with administrative tasks including data entry (GIS experience an asset), filing, and completion of safety documentation
• Excellent computer skills with experience in MS Office 365 an asset
• Ability to work independently as well as with others
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience with the operation of light-duty equipment (skid steer, packer) an asset.

Shift: This position works Monday to Friday for 40 hours a week with some evening and weekend work as required.

Term Length: May to end of August

Hourly Pay Rate: $25.53 to $30.03 hourly 

Closing Date: March 31, 2026
