Job Description

Works with dealers and customers to ensure they have all the necessary parts to build and repair their boats.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Removes packing slip and forwards to purchasing department for processing.
• Pulls parts for kits.
• Ships parts out nationally and internationally
• Receives parts when they are delivered.
• Unloads and loads trucks.
• Unpacks, stocks parts, and puts them in appropriate locations.
• Document items that are low in stock.
• Provides parts to production personnel.
• Delivers packages to office personnel.
• Inspects all parts before shipping to ensure that all parts are complete and up to quality standards.
• Helps with inventory counting.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.
• Must comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.

Knowledge, Education, and Experience include but is not limited to the following:

• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Must have experience with inventory counting.
• Must have experience in customer service.
• Knowledge of computer systems and databases.
• Follow the instruction of the Supervisor/foreman/lead when doing miscellaneous duties.
• Be able to read orders and identify missing or defective parts.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control.
• Knowledge of machines and tools.
• Must be a licensed driver with good driving record (subject to MVR)

Physical and Work Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.
• Must be able to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to climb into and out of the interior of boats.
• Must be able to wear proper safety equipment as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds when necessary.
• The ability to see details at close range.
• Be able to use and maintain small hand tools (grinder, scraper, razor knife, blower, etc.)
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.
