Job Description

Job Description: Each boat is detailed inside & out to exceed customers’ expectations & Nautique quality standards.

The hours for this position are 5:30 AM - 4 PM Monday through Friday, with overtime required based on business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform the final cleaning of all parts of the boat.
  • Wipe inside and outside of the boat with a rag.
  • Conduct the last check for gigs that need to be completed.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly with sweeping.
  • Lifting 20 pounds multiple times a day.
  • Follow the instruction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead
  • Inspects all parts so that they are complete and up to quality standards.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management.
  • Must comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Tools used in this occupation include but are not limited to:

  • Personal Protective Equipment- Safety Glasses, dust/mist respirator as needed
  • Hand Tools- screwdrivers, power, and air drills, buffers, sanders, wrenches, scissors, and heat gun.
  • Cleaners- All-Purpose Cleaner, mineral spirits, acetone, soap, and water.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.
  • Must be able to bend at waist and knees, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to climb into and out of the interior of boats.
  • Must be able to wear proper safety equipment and protective equipment, including a respirator when necessary.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds when necessary.
