Job Summary:

We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to work in our Assembly area. Each boat is detailed inside & out to exceed customers’ expectations & Nautique quality standards.

Starting pay rate is $16 an hour.

The hours for this position are 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Overtime is required based on business needs.

Job Details:

  • Does final cleaning of all parts of the boat.
  • Install SeaDek
  • Stand and clean floor
  • Wipe inside and outside of the boat with a rag.
  • Conduct the last check for gigs that need to be completed.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly with sweeping.
  • Lifting 20 pounds multiple times a day.
  • Follow instructions of Manager/Supervisor/Lead
  • Inspects all parts so that they are complete and up to quality standards.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management.
  • Must comply with all OSHA and safety procedures

Tools used in this occupation include but are not limited to:

  • Personal Protective Equipment- Safety Glasses, dust/mist respirator as needed
  • Hand Tools- screwdrivers, power, and air drills, buffers, sanders, wrenches, scissors, and heat gun.
  • Cleaners- All Purpose Cleaner, mineral spirits, acetone, soap, and water.

 

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Experience with detail cleaning, housekeeping, etc. 
  • Extreme attention to detail

Preferred:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.
  • Must be able to bend at waist and knees and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to climb into and out of the interior of boats.
  • Must be able to wear proper safety equipment, including a respirator when necessary.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds when necessary.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position
