Job Details:

Attach vinyl coverings onto the correct parts before being installed in boats. Using a screw gun, install bolts into pre-drilled holes and tighten them down. Inspect skins for defects and trim excess threads and vinyl. Place skins over parts and aligns stripes. Pull vinyl tight over part and staple around edges, ensuring that edges and stripes stay aligned. Finish with screen and hem when necessary. Inspect all parts after production to ensure that parts are complete and up to quality standards. Keep the work area clean and orderly. Follow instructions of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead. Comply with all OSHA and safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Two years of experience in the job offered or related position required, including experience with using and maintaining hand tools (such as foam knives, razor knives, drills, hole saws, etc.)
  • Identifying different boat model parts; unloading supply trucks;
  • Repairing damaged parts
  • Following instructions of a supervisor/foreman/lead
  • Identifying parts needed to maintain the production schedule
  • Production processes and quality control;
  • Inspecting parts to ensure completion and quality standards.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
