Job Description

Take your career to the next level!  Join a company that values people, performance, and philanthropy. Join a team that is passionate about making a difference in the world. We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician who can maintain our new facility and equipment.

Job Details: Performs maintenance repairs on all machines and equipment and coordinates repairs to the building and grounds. Maintains safety program and goes through routine training.

5-day work week:  hours are 5:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Thursday. Overtime may be required at times due to the needs of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Be able to identify and correct in a timely manner any production-stopping breakdowns that may occur.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of mechanics and electrical.
  • Must be able to drive a forklift when required.
  • Must Keep work area clean and orderly
  • Follow instructions of Supervisor/foreman/lead when doing miscellaneous duties
  • Work in a safe manner with a safety-first attitude always.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on all equipment and machines.

Preferred:

  • Forklift certified
  • Experience working with outside vendors 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.
  • Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature
  • Must be able to bend at waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to wear proper safety equipment as needed
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds when necessary
  • Must be able to use and maintain small hand tools (drills, grinders, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc)
  • This is a safety sensitive position
  • Must be a licensed driver with a good driving record (subject to MVR)
