Excellent opportunity for hard-working, ambitious, and quality-minded candidates to become part of our team!!

We are looking for a candidate with painting experience who enjoys creating quality products and has an eye for detail! Have you painted your house or your car before? Do you have experience painting commercials, residential or autobody? If yes, this job is for you!!!

The Gel Coater applies Gelcoat to boat hull and boat deck molds.

We offer entry-level at $17-hour or more depending upon experience, and you must be flexible to work any shift. Overtime may be required at times based on the needs of the business. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Spray Gelcoat consistently and evenly to desired thickness.
  • Read and interpret order specifications to spray according to patterns and check for the proper millage.
  • Wrap tape and prep molds to be Gel coated
  • Mix catalyst and Gelcoat
  • Clean and maintain all work tools as scheduled   
  • Learn to identify all the boats we make

Qualifications

  • Must work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.
  • Prefer the Autobody painting experience
  • Must be able to wear proper safety equipment required for the job, such as a respirator, apron, etc.
  • Can work in a team environment under time constraints with a positive attitude
  • Eye for detail and maintain the highest standards of quality
  • Must be able to use and maintain a variety of hand tools
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Maintain quality control and work to quality standards
  • Must be flexible - willing to work a varied schedule
  • Reliable transportation and exceptional attendance are required
