Job Description

Job Summary: 

The Financial Analyst works with the Finance Director to ensure accurate sales, accounting and financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Analysis of historical financial information including tracking monthly, quarterly and YOY growth
  • Generate and maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Collaborate in annual pricing exercise and all other finance projects
  • Post daily inventory, work in process, and cost of sales transactions as finished goods are shipped
  • Support purchasing in part tracking for raw materials
  • Issue invoices to customers and manage accounts receivable balances

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 1-2 years experience in Finance or Accounting, including familiarity with month end close process 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of GAAP 
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently, strong problem solving and decision making skills
