Job Description

This is an internship for an open ended period.  Candidate must be able to work within the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. Flexible schedule of no more than 20 hours per week. 

There will be no relocation offered for this position.  Candidate must be able to report physically to the work location. 

  • Contributes to the Human Resources department by working on short term projects involving compensation, recruitment, communications, performance management, or employee engagement.
  • Participates in discussions concerning process improvements with the department.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.
  • HRCI or SHRM certification a plus

  • Ability to juggle and manage competing tasks and demands and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
  • Ability to make sound judgements and take the initiative to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and make decisions/choices within the functional area of responsibility with minimal direct supervision
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
