Job Purpose:

We are looking for hardworking individuals to operate sewing machines to perform sewing operations, such as joining seat pattern parts. Sew emblems and labels and perform alterations as needed.

Job Details:

• This is a first shift position, and the hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
• Starting pay for this position is $14.40/hour
• All positions are safety sensitive. A safety sensitive position is any position designated in writing by an employer, in which a person performing the position while under the influence of marijuana may constitute a threat to health or safety.

Qualified candidates will be asked to submit to drug testing.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Trim, bag, and pack seats
• Operate a sewing machine and maintain working areas in a clean and orderly manner
• Set up the machine and use the tools correctly
• Ability to retain numerous patterns
• Operate other machines/tools (i.e. band saw)
• Perform other related duties as directed
• Ability to multi-task
• Reliable and self-motivated

Essential qualifications include:

• Possess the physical strength and ability to lift boxes and cases weighing up to 50 lbs. without risk of injury to self or others
• Withstand high/low temperatures, dirt, and fiberglass.
• Must be able to work over-time when required
• Maintain a clean working environment free of safety hazards and comply with all policies and procedures
• At times, maybe in or near the vicinity of production

Preferred Qualifications include:

• 1-year experience performing work operating a power sewing machine to sew or repair clothing
• Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Possess the ability to stand and walk on feet all day while being in constant motion.
