Job Description

Reporting to the President of Watershed, the Finance Manager will ensure accurate and timely financial planning, reporting and measurement for all Watershed entities. A key role in the Watershed group, the Finance Manager will oversee accounting processes, government reporting, and work closely with operational leadership to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and presentation of monthly financials for each Watershed entity for submission to organizational leadership
  • Oversight of monthly expenses (budget vs. actual) and reconciliation of variances
  • Utilization of business intelligence tools for YTD financials and to forecast future sales based on production schedules
  • Preparation of annual budget
  • Collaborate with organizational leadership and functional areas in annual pricing exercise
  • Responsible for submitting quarterly sales and use tax filings
  • Manage all accounting functions including GL, AP and AR
  • Facilitate year-end audit work for external auditors
  • ROI analysis for capital projects

Qualifications

Essential:

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-3 years of progressive Accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience
  • Strong computer and analytical skills

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Epicor
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
