Job Details:

Mold Maintenance and Tooling- Waxes, cleans inspects and maintain molds. Sand molds and applies wax in between pulls and does any patching and repair work.

We offer a first shift, 5:30am – 4pm, Monday – Thursday with Overtime available on Friday and pay is $13-$20/hour, DOE.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for receiving and prepping the molds for gelcoat.

Requires buffing and waxing large parts.

Responsible for making sure a mold is ready to move on to production.

Will be working with hands in hot environment.

Work with small hand tools to include: grinders, sanders, screwdrivers, drills, scissors, razor knife etc.

Will be involved in the construction of new molds for the production line.

Keep work area clean and orderly.

Inspects all parts so that they are complete and up to quality standards.
 

Qualifications

Previous experience with molds or autobody repairs a plus.

Must be able to work effectively as an individual or with a team.

Must be able to perform tasks under time pressure deadlines.

Must have strong attention to detail.

Have a working concept of prototypes. 

Must be familiar with gelcoat spraying, the lamination process, and bondo applications. 

Knowledge of production processes and quality control.

Experienced with hand Tools such as rollers, sanders, buffers, screwdrivers, drills, razor knife and scissors.

Experienced working directly with fiberglass, resin and gel coat.
