Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator/Project Manager that thrives in a fast pace environment. Someone who takes responsibility and runs with it! Are you the candidate that will provide key support to the Nautique team to define scope, track costs, deliverables and integration timeline from concept design, prototype and production integration? Can you coordinate with internal and external customers/partners, schedule, support and manage meetings, and  communicate timely decisions to support day-to-day project management and coordination activities? Then this is the opportunity for you!

Typical Responsibilities are:

  • Document all aspects of the projects
  • Support, follow-up and report on project tasks to keep all parties up to date
  • Schedule and attend meetings, including managing the agenda and writing meeting notes
  • Manage several diverse projects at once, from development to full production integration

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills and self-motivated 
  • Develops and ensures adherence to project schedules
  • Develops program and project definition and tracking documentation
  • Coordinate and approve purchase orders and/or ROI’s for equipment, consulting or other program/project deliverables 
  • Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of all programs
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
  • Manage cross-functional sub teams to address issues, communicate/coordinate program and project status to ensure successful integration of new product, process etc.
  • Directs assigned work of team members from various cross-functional departments
  • Identify and track lessons learned for future program plans and projects
  • Track and communicate key decisions that impact programs and projects
  • Continual process improvement for the success of the organization
  • Administrative support for all organizations
  • Coordinates agendas, meetings with team and vendors, writes and communicates meeting notes

Education and/or Experience:             

  • Experience in  mechanical projects, or propulsion (engines) projects or electrical/hardware/software projects
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years coordinating projects
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency including: Excel, charts & graphs, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Knowledge of boating, manufacturing or vendor lead-times, a plus
