Job Description

The CAD Engineer is directly responsible for generating 3D CAD models, and documentation in the design and development phase. The role will also involve working with various Correct Craft companies on various innovative projects as needed.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Assist in electric boat design

·         Electrical routing and schematics

·         3D scanning tooling for various companies under the Correct Craft umbrella

·         Generate 3D models, and drawings specifications for new designs

·         Create documentation for compliance and safety of the electrical propulsion system

·         Assist in creating documentation needed for owner’s manuals

·         Basic AC electrical (house wiring)

 

Qualifications

·         B.S. Mechanical Engineering perferred or related Technical field

·         Understanding of the fundamentals of Engineering and Design Process

·         Experience in advance surface modeling using SolidWorks and NX

·         Experience with 3D assembly modeling, preferable with SolidWorks and NX

·         Experience with 2D drawing software, AutoCAD

·         Strong CAD skills to analyze, organize and program files

·         Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents

·         Must be willing to travel as needed
