Job Description

We are offering a leadership role for our Small Parts Department. The right candidate should have experience in manufacturing and coaching of employees. The Lead will be directly responsible for assisting in the daily operation of the Small Parts Department. The enthusiastic, self-starter will meet facility goals in regard to safety, quality and on-time delivery of products from one department to the next. We offer a first shift, 5:30am - 4pm, paying $13-$18 per hour, DOE plus a Lead differential.

Job Responsibilities: 

Perform tasks under time sensitive deadlines

Establish and maintain standards of operation to meet goals

Communicate information to team and to the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager

Lead meetings with team

Promote and implement quality programs

Handle all employment related issues

Manage safe practices of team

Qualifications

 

  • Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1-2 years progressive Leadership experience managing a team
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experienced working with hand/power tools and lamination a plus
  • Effective problem solving under time constraints
  • Able to coach team
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, both verbal and written 
  • Strong computer skills
