Job Description

This position supports operations through Forecasting, Purchasing, Reciepts, Expediting and Cycle-Counts.

We offer an 8am - 4:30pm shift, and $48-50k/year salary, DOE.

Repsponsibilities:

  • Forecast and determine stock levels and order quantities using a variety of forecasting tools
  • Prepare, enter and expedite purchase orders
  • Check receipt of goods against purchase order
  • Complete Cycle-Counts
  • Work with resolving discrepancies with suppliers
  • Maintain files and records of historical data as it relates to ordering, POs and Purchase Reqs
  • Work with Accounting to verify price and delivery of items ordered
  • Relationship building with vendors and internal departments

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field plus 2 years purchasing experience, or 5+ years Purchasing experience in lieu of education
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
  • Experienced with using formulas, pivot tables and other tools to analyze data
  • 2+ years experience with an ERP suite (Epicor preferred)
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Strong work ethic with ability to work well under pressure, self starter and able to multi-task
  • Must be able to wear proper safety equipment when necessary
  • Able to climb in and out of a boat, bend at waist and stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds when needed
  • Able to work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment
  • Extremely detail oriented
