Job Description

• Contributes to the Human Resources department by working on short term projects involving benefits, recruitment, communications, or employee engagement.
• Participates in discussions concerning process improvements with the department.
• Other duties as assigned

The pay rate is $15 an Hour.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to work positively with internal and external customers.
• Able to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
• Excellent organization and project management skills
• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to juggle and manage competing tasks and demands and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
• Ability to make sound judgements and take the initiative to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and make decisions/choices within the functional area of responsibility with minimal direct supervision
• Regular and punctual attendance.

Knowledge, Education and or Experience required:
• Seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.
• HRCI or SHRM certification a plus
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
