This webmaster will be responsible for building, managing, maintaining and enhancing the company's public websites. Working closely with the Marketing and IT teams, the webmaster takes the vision, requirements and execution demands of a dynamic and fast paced business and produces/enhances sites designed to engage and nurture customers and generate and facilitate leads. This role conducts front and back end development and support for all web needs including but not limited to user interfaces, primary web pages, campaign landing pages, integration to databases, back-end APIs and front end interaction on browsers. Company would really like someone who has had some agency background and done web design for multiple clients, stays up on trends and embraces new technology - somone who can be more technical along with the creative. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Actively leads and participates in the requirements analysis, design, development and testing of website enhancements, new development, maintenance and bug fixes for our websites

Participates in the collaboration of the physical design and maintenance design, architectural design and functionality of existing style sheets, the development of new style sheets and design templates for all websites

Test and troubleshoot all site functions

Day-to-day administration

Production support and maintenance of the website environments (development, test, production)

Acts as web architecture expert driving discussions on support, scalability and maintenance of the servers and architectural components that support the web infrastructure;

Works on projects including web layout enhancements, website enhancements, web-based applications and database backed websites

Manages security compliance for applications, environments and data

Testing functional components of web development and integration points into back end systems; this includes ability to work with other IT members to trace data capture to its final resting spot

Managing and maintaining back-up systems and performing recovery if required

Apply appropriate patches, upgrades and security fixes

Ensure and enforce proper planning and change management for testing and production move-ups

Manages version control over all web development repositories 

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical discipline

Proven working experience in web programming and leading custom website development and deployment – preferably in an agency setting

7+ years of experience working with WordPress as a web development tool

Demonstrated experience with PHP (7+ years), javascript (7+ years) and MySQL (7+ years)

Strong communications skills

Extensive experience working with Client Services, Marketing and other business stakeholders

Strong Linux and Apache webserver experience

Top web development skills and in-depth knowledge of HTML/CSS

Solid knowledge of web application security, session management and development best practices

Experience working with AWS environments is a plus

Experience working with Photoshop and transferring Photoshop content to wireframes and designs a plus
