Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Base pay rate is $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

1st Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM, Monday - Friday (opportunities for overtime)

  • Receiving and Processing Stock: Unloading deliveries, checking for accuracy, and storing items appropriately.
  • Order Fulfillment: Picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Organizing and maintaining inventory, ensuring stock levels are adequate, and conducting regular inventory checks.
  • Quality Control: Inspecting products for defects and damages, ensuring only quality items are shipped.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Keeping the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Documentation: Creating and managing invoices, tracking shipments, and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing goods

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy items, often requiring the use of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring orders are processed accurately and inventory is managed correctly.
  • Organizational Skills: Efficiently organizing stock and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Lifting Capacity – ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Mobility – Prolonged periods of time on feet, standing, bending, etc.
  • Exposure – Moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and non-climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
