JOB DETAILS
Base pay starts at $20.00 per hour
Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 3:30 pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment
- Package, crate, or load items to ensure safe arrival and capacity loading
- Packages parts using all types of crating and packaging materials, metal bands, covering, or other methods to secure and protect parts in shipment and for weighing trucks of items as required
- Constantly check each load being made to assure that the job is complete
- Expedite completion of work in process to meet production schedules
- Assist with inventory counts as required
- Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area
- May be assigned other projects or duties as designated by the Team Leader
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience (0-1 year) preferred
- Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 100 pounds regularly
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math skills for inventory calculations
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
- Forklift certification preferred
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Reliable transportation to work location
