This is a hybrid role with 3-4 days/week in Spokane Valley, WA for Summer 2025.

The Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern at Cornerstone Building Brands is responsible for working alongside Cornerstone employees on projects that will have a direct impact on the business. Reporting directly to the Spokane Plant Manager, this role will interface with the Production and Quality departments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Will Create process flows, creating process mapping, time studies, and layout
- May be involved in test equipment design/improvement, troubleshooting, calibration, non-conforming material (incoming and finished goods) inspection, auditing, and test processes
Qualifications
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering is required
- Must have completed Sophomore year coursework
- Data interpretation/manipulation via MS Excel, specifically creating Pivot Tables and Pareto Charts experience preferred
- Experience with AutoCad, Inventor, or Solid works preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Interns will work in office and shop floor environments with extended periods of sitting and standing. Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
