Job Description
Cornerstone Building Brands is looking for a Field Service Representative to join its Field Service team.
This role is a remote position and can be based anywhere in Costa Rica.
Our Field Service Representatives are involved with the day-to-day activities of providing and maintaining customer relations through timely and thorough responses to all post-shipment inquiries.
- Provide feedback and data of all reoccurring issues
- Provide a strong focus of customer service with timely responses regarding inquiries from Builder organization
- Develop and maintain customer relations by seeking customer feedback, both external and internal, to ensure continuous improvement takes places to improve overall performance
- Communicate/coordinate technical issues in support of customer needs
- Undertaking all customer support tasks in external facilities
- Guaranteeing that the work progress accurately follows the agenda
- Perform troubleshooting and strive to resolve issues
- Produce frequent and analytical service reports
- Coordinate with departments for root cause and/or solutions in support of customer needs.
- Discern customer needs and offer advice or recommendations
- Formulate relationships of trust with customers
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent experience required
- Technical education, certification or experience preferred
- Must have knowledge of PEMB and the ability to read blueprints
- Prefer previous experience in at least two of the following areas
- Previous building erection experience (5+ years)
- Previous experience in the PEMB industry performing drafting or engineering tasks (5+ years)
- Previous experience in PEMB manufacturing (5+ years)
- Previous Field Service/Customer Service experience (5+ years)
- PEMB experience is highly desired
- PC competent (including Excel, Word, and Access)
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
