ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is hybrid with 2-3 days/week out of the Houston, TX office for Summer 2025.
This position will serve as a member of the Corporate Development team which owns the M&A and Integration process for the entire Company. This individual will work directly with Corporate Strategy team, and Business Unit partners to complete strategic acquisitions & divestments. The Corporate Development group owns the M&A process and manages multiple acquisitions at any given time from inception through post-closing integration working with the Business Unit sponsor and managing multiple functions throughout the organization. As a member of the team, this individual will support all aspects of the M&A lifecycle.
This individual will be report to the Director of Corporate Development. The team reports to the Chief Growth Officer, who reports to the Chairman & CEO and is a member of the Executive Committee. Key responsibilities include providing a range of analytical analysis, financial modeling, M&A pipeline development and research, business diligence, integration planning/execution, and other general M&A activities.
Individual must have exceptional Excel & PowerPoint capabilities, strong financial modeling skills, be organized and be capable of handling multiple complex projects simultaneously while coordinating with internal and external resources.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Corporate Development:
- Work with small team on potential M&A activity; developing pipeline criteria, screening opportunities, coordinating diligence efforts with internal and external SMEs, identifying potential synergies, and creating financial models.
- Assist the team in leading and managing due diligence & QOE working collaboratively with internal functional groups and external third-party resources
Integration
- Assist team working with the business unit leaders and functional groups to create an integration plan that accomplishes the financial metrics outlined during the pre-acquisition phase
- Assist team to project manage the integration plan by tracking progress made on key metrics, ensuring the capture of synergies and helping to facilitate any organization changes required
Qualifications
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher is required. Pursuing an MBA is preferred.
- Experience with financial modeling is required.
- Ability to handle multiple complex projects with internal and external stakeholders is preferred.
