DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Due to recent growth, we are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Finance Manager to support our Dealer Direct and One Step Distribution channel for Aperture Solutions.

The Senior Finance Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the financial operations of the Dealer Direct and One Step Distribution channel for Aperture Solutions. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance and accounting, along with a proven track record in working in a matrix environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various departments to provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making. The role is a leadership position which supports and partners with the VP & GM, Dealer Direct & One Step Distribution for Aperture Solutions and reporting directly to the SVP, Finance for Aperture  Solutions. The Senior Finance Manager will have P&L, Balance Sheet and Working Capital responsibility for the Dealer Direct and One Step Distribution channel.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Lead the development and execution of annual financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide regular financial reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders

Cost Control and Optimization:

  • Oversee cost accounting activities, analyzing production costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Collaborate with the operations team to streamline processes and improve overall cost efficiency

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Work with auditors during the annual audit process

Capital Expenditure Management:

  • Assess capital investment proposals, conduct financial analysis, and provide recommendations to support capital allocation decisions
  • Monitor the implementation of approved projects and track their financial impact

Acquisition Integration:

  • Lead finance integrations for recent and future acquisitions, problem solve and support business leaders to integrate operations
  • Develop creative solutions to complex issues. Think strategically to help define the answers to the changes within the organization

Strategic Financial Planning:

  • Collaborate with the executive team in developing long-term financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (required) with strong Business Analysis experience. A graduate degree or MBA strongly preferred
  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive finance experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Solid technical skills with a wide range of financial experience and understanding with the ability to automate and streamline financial information
  • Exhibits strong time management skills; able to work through roadblocks to meet commitments timely
  • Experienced, high integrity, flexible leader with the ability to effectively collaborate with others within and outside the organization
  • Action-oriented professional with a take-charge, can-do attitude
  • High-level knowledge of financial reporting concepts processes required
  • Business financial management experience, preferably in manufacturing or product-driven organizations. Proficiency in financial modeling and ERP systems
  • Mergers, acquisition, and divestiture modeling experience preferred
