The Applications Support Analyst is the user and technical support for a subset of software applications and assists with the set-up and maintenance of application security for designated applications, mainly focused on student information systems, HR, and educational applications. Acting as the liaison between application users and the IT department or software vendors, the incumbent assists with all the activities required for design specifications, implementation, documentation and maintenance of application software. They will work closely with the application users and software vendors to gain intricate knowledge of the applications supported.

Bachelor's degree desired, or a combination of education and experience with software applications, database concepts, and reporting capabilities required. Excellent time management and organizational skills and ability to lead small to medium projects as related to application support. Ability to teach/train users to use applications. Diverse, detailed knowledge of database concepts & technologies, including data extractions and analysis. Experience with educational organizations is a plus.
